Terry Rinehart

Volunteer, Church of the Brethren

Terry began volunteering at the Brethren Heritage Center in March 2017 and has also volunteered with other Brethren organizations such as Brethren Disaster Ministry, Woodland Altars Church Camp and Outdoor Ministries of the Southern Ohio District.

He graduated from Manchester University and currently resides in Brookville, Ohio. In addition to volunteering, Terry enjoys gardening and reading.

His current projects at BHC are displaying and cataloging the Family Bible Collection and creating an electronic summary of Brethren Pastors from 1871 to 1917. He has found his time at BHC to be especially rewarding through his social interactions, increasing knowledge of his own family’s genealogy and awareness of Brethren history.

Brethren Heritage Center

The Brethren Heritage Center (BHC) is a historical archive for printed materials and artifacts connected to a variety of Christian groups that trace their roots to a specific group baptism in Schwarzenau, Germany in 1708.
