Get Involved: VOLUNTEER
BHC welcomes volunteers with an interest in history and genealogy. We have lots of things you can volunteer to do. Take a look at the possibilities:

Answering the phone

Greeting visitors

Receiving and receipting donated materials

Cataloging books and other resources

Sending thank you notes to donors

Using our software to catalog various donations

Translating our archives from German to English

IT assistance

You can come in any Monday, Wednesday or Saturday (except holidays) between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and enjoy a volunteer group lunch at noon. Don’t worry if you cannot make it sometimes. After all, this is volunteering—not a job.

Donate
Like any other nonprofit, we run on volunteer enthusiasm, in-kind gifts and financial contributions. Please give what you can, when you can. Hit a donate button on any page and you can make a gift through PayPal with your credit card.

Heritage Friend
Come learn about the Brethren. We have various resources and functions at the Center to help increase your knowledge. By becoming a Heritage "Friend" you receive our Recorder, our quarterly newsletter which keeps you informed of all activities. In addition, "Friends" receive a 10% discount on all purchases form the Center.

The Brethren Heritage Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are deductible form your income tax.
