Steve Hottle is a member of Happy Corner Church of the Brethren. He has been retired from teaching since 2013. In his career he taught at Mississinawa Valley High School, Greenville High School, and Tippecanoe High School. He was a Social Studies teacher, Guidance Counselor, and coached football and wrestling. He lives in Vandalia, Ohio with his wife Nan, who is also a retired teacher. Their daughter Megan is an Assistant Principal with Dayton City Schools. Their son John is a UX Designer in Cincinnati, Ohio, with his wife Abby and son Oscar.
