Book Talk with Phyllis Hochstetler

Helen Frances Buehl Angeny, Church of the Brethren missionary in China and author, told her story of a 3-year imprisonment and rescue from a Japanese prison of war camp during WWII in Behind Barbed Wire and High Fences. Helen’s daughter, Phyllis, will present this talk based on her mother’s book.


The event will be held at the Brethren Heritage Center, Brookside Plaza, 428 N. Wolf Creek, Brookville, Ohio

Park in front and enter front door unless you need handicap access. Handicap access is through our back entrance. Look for the Brethren Heritage Center door. Then look for the doorbell, up a bit high on the right, lift cover and ring bell.
